How do I use Locul memory in Claude.ai, ChatGPT or Grok Bot?

Add a custom connector with the address https://team-api.locul.ai/mcp in your AI app, then sign in with your Locul account.

Add Locul as a custom connector in your web AI app using the address <https://team-api.locul.ai/mcp>, then sign in with your Locul account. The AI can then recall your memories and save new ones.

Before you start

  • Your plan or trial must be active. Web AI apps are not available on the Free plan. See Locul pricing.
  • Your memories must be in the cloud. In Locul, open Settings > Cloud and local and make sure Where your memories are stored is set to Cloud. A Local-only brain can’t be reached from the web.

Claude.ai

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Click Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Locul and paste <https://team-api.locul.ai/mcp>.
  4. Click Connect and sign in to Locul.
  5. In a chat, turn the Locul connector on from the tools menu.

ChatGPT

ChatGPT needs developer mode for custom connectors.

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps and connectors, then Advanced, and turn on developer mode.
  2. Add a new connector with the address <https://team-api.locul.ai/mcp>.
  3. Sign in to Locul when asked.

Grok Bot

  1. In Locul, click Connect apps at the bottom of the left rail.
  2. Under Grok Bot, click Copy line, then Open Grok Bot.
  3. Paste the line into any Grok Bot chat and send it.
  4. Click the authorize card Grok Bot shows and sign in to Locul.

Locul can’t confirm this link from its own window, because it is made in Grok Bot’s cloud.

Signing in

The sign-in page offers Google, email and password, or a one-time code. Use the same email as your Locul app. You stay signed in, and to disconnect you remove the connector in the AI app.

What the AI can do

It can search and recall your memories and notes, look up people and companies, and add new memories. It can’t change or delete existing memories.

Troubleshooting

The connector stops working. Check your plan or trial is still active, and that you signed in with the same email as your Locul app.
