List your own bot on the Marketplace

Updated 2 min read
On this page

Open Marketplace, click List your bot, fill in the six steps and click Submit for review. A person at Locul reviews every bot before it goes live, usually within a day.

You need to be signed in to list a bot.

Before you start

Have these ready:

  • At least 3 real sample outputs from the bot, each with a caption.
  • A short demo conversation (at least one turn from you and one from the bot).
  • Your name or company, plus a website or LinkedIn page.

Never put passwords or API keys in the bot’s files. Uploads that contain a key are refused.

Create the listing

  1. In the left rail, click Marketplace.
  2. Click List your bot.
  3. Basics: click Choose a bot under Start from one of your bots to fill in the details, or type them in. Add the name, tagline, description, your name or company, a website or LinkedIn page, and the bot’s instructions.md.
  4. Samples: add at least 3 samples with captions. You can also add a thumbnail, an icon and a demo video link (YouTube, Loom, Vimeo or Wistia).
  5. Demo conversation: write the conversation with You and Bot turns. Click Add a turn for more.
  6. What it does: list at least 2 things it can do, pick a Category, and add the tools it needs. You can also add extra text files, the AI it runs on, accounts to connect after install, and setup questions it asks.
  7. Price: choose free or a one-time price.
  8. Review and submit: tick the box confirming the samples are real outputs and the bot holds no passwords or keys.
  9. Click Submit for review.

Click Save draft at any time to finish later.

Let Claude fill it in

At the top of the form, Complete listing from Claude lets you hand the work to Claude:

  • Click Copy prompt and paste it into Claude, or
  • Click Download skill to add the listing skill to Claude.

You can also fill the listing in on the web at https://locul.ai/bots/sell/submit/. The web form asks you to confirm your email.

Track your listing

Open Marketplace and click the My listings tab. Each listing shows its status:

  • Draft: not sent yet. Click Continue.
  • In review: waiting for review.
  • Changes requested: read the Note from review, then click Fix and resubmit.
  • Live: buyers can find it.
  • Unlisted: hidden from new buyers.

Change or remove a live bot

  • Click Edit to change it. The current version stays on sale while changes to its files go back through review. Buyers then get the new version as a free update.
  • Click Unlist to hide it. Buyers keep what they bought, but new buyers can’t find it.
