# Install a bot from the Marketplace

Open **Marketplace** in the left rail, pick a bot, and click **Get it free** or buy it, then install it. Every installed bot is added as a new bot in your Bots folder, so it never changes the bots you already have.

## Find a bot

1. In the left rail, click **Marketplace** (Ready-made bots to install).
2. Stay on the **Browse** tab. Type in **Search bots** or click a category chip. **All bots** shows everything.
3. Click a bot to open its page. It shows what the bot does, real sample outputs, a sample conversation, the tools it needs and what it asks before it runs.

## Get a free bot

1. On the bot's page, click **Get it free**.
2. The bot installs right away and appears in your bot list.

If you are not signed in, the button reads **Sign in to get it** (or **Sign in to buy** for a paid bot) and takes you to **Settings** > **Account**. Purchases belong to your Locul account, so you can install them on any computer you sign in on.

## Buy a paid bot

Paid bots are a one-time payment, not a subscription. The price is shown on the bot's page.

1. On the bot's page, click **Buy for**, followed by the price.
2. Finish paying in the browser window that opens.
3. Go back to Locul. The page updates by itself and says **It's yours.** If it has not updated yet, click **I have paid, check now**.
4. Click **Install**, followed by the bot's name, to copy it into your Bots folder.
5. Click **Open**, followed by the bot's name, to start chatting with it.

If a bot shows **Coming soon**, it cannot be bought yet.

## Set it up

Most bots ask their setup questions in the chat the first time you use them. Check **What it needs** on the bot's page for accounts you may need to connect first, and see [Connect apps your bots can use](/articles/connect-apps-your-bots-can-use).

## Update a bot you own

When the seller releases a new version, the bot's page shows **Update to** the new version. Click **Update**. Your memory, settings, routines and anything you made stay as they are. If you edited one of the bot's files, your copy is kept in an update-backups folder.

## See the bots you own

Open **Marketplace** and click the **Owned** tab. Each row shows when you bought it, with **Open** or **Install**. Use **Install** to add a bot you own on another computer.

## Refund a paid bot

Every paid bot can be refunded in one click for a short window after you buy it. The bot's page and the **Owned** tab show how much time is left.

1. Click **Refund** on the bot's page or in the **Owned** tab.
2. Confirm. The full amount goes back to your card and the bot is removed.

After the window closes, the **Refund** button no longer shows.

## Troubleshooting

- **The page still says to finish paying.** Click **I have paid, check now**. Make sure Locul is signed in with the same account you bought with.
- **I can't see a bot I bought.** Sign in with the email you bought with, then open the **Owned** tab.
- **Still stuck?** Email support@locul.ai with the bot's name.
